Delaware Canal Amphitheater

This project was funded by a private donor and is to serve as an educational site for DCNR. It is situated where the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers merge in Easton, Pennsylvania and a Visitor’s Center is being planned for the site as well.

The Amphitheater construction was completed in the Summer of 2003.

The site layout consists of an accessible pathway to the amphitheater and river trail along with terraced seating walls to accommodate approximately 35-50 people in an intimate setting along the water.

Existing invasive vegetation was removed along the river banks to allow for views to the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers and the City of Easton.
